Job Summary
Responsible for organizing, planning, and directing the day to day operation and activities of the assigned functions. Analyze staffing needs, maintain employee records, prepare training and procedure manuals for specific teams. Provide leadership within the department to decrease accounts receivable, increase productivity, increase quality of services, and decrease costs.
Oversee, coordinate, and assign work to select teams. Monitor daily activity ensuring that bills are correct and processed daily making optimum use of electronic systems. Assure that payment arrangements are made with customers using Lakeland payment guidelines. Assure that payments to Lakeland are posted accurately on a daily basis.? Work with outside vendors as necessary to maintain existing programs and develop new programs for reducing accounts receivable and lowering bad debts.? Develop, recommend, and administer departmental policies and procedures within the framework of policies of the organization to enhance productivity and maintain quality of departmental services. Provide input into the development and implementation of policies and procedures that interface with other departments.? Make recommendations to the Director or Manager regarding hiring and discipline of employees. ? Responsible for the training of new employees and continuing education of all employees to maintain a high level of skill for all staff in the performance of their duties. Assist with group dynamics and helps team members move through stages of development toward a high performance culture. ? Make recommendations regarding capital and operating budgets. Manage areas of responsibility in a manner that allows goals and objectives to be met while staying within budgetary limits.? Develop productivity standards for department and for individual employees. Monitor adherence to standards and maintains records and reports to the Director or Manager.? Keep abreast of all regulatory requirements, and assures compliance. ? Ensure Lakeland achieves and maintains health care accreditation and adheres to state and federal regulatory requirements.? Review and approve time off requests. Review and processes payroll.? Assist Director or Manager in promoting service excellence, solving problems and removing barriers and other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager.? Provide leadership and direction consistent with Lakeland's commitment to the continuous improvement of the patient experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service.? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
