Function Overview


Whirlpool is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Senior Analyst, Product Delivery.


In this role you will join the multinational Global Engineering Team in Wash System Organization, the team spread in three countries. You will be responsible for component and module level development from concept to production implementation for a hydraulic system including dispenser, valve, and pump and drying system. You will drive and deliver design development for multiple projects and different regions. You will work with other engineers to integrate the design solutions to meet product requirements.


 


Job Responsibilities



  • Develop and design hydraulics related components,( valve, pump, dispenser, heater, hose, etc.) for wash machines from concept to production

  • Work with supplier to drive and implement concept to meet code and specifications

  • Drive and implement cost reduction and quality improvement projects for hydraulic components

  • Establish and improve testing methods for validation

  • Develop innovative concepts to improve wash performance by using hydraulic related components or algorithms

  • Work in the lab to prove the technical feasibility from concept to implementation in production


 


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • 5+ years' experience in product development/design on a water system or hydraulic components


 


Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong fluid mechanics background, understanding of system level integration and interaction

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • Water system related or hydraulic related development experience

  • Strong data acquisition and sound data analysis capability, set to run

  • Extensive experience in an appliance or related industry

  • Work in the lab to prove the technical feasibility from concept to implementation in production

  • Good critical thinking and proactive behavior, communication skills

  • Initiative to drive project and assignment to meet timelines

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
