Job Details
Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of a licensed nurse and provide a broad variety of care for a group of residents.
Assist or perform activities of daily living that a resident or patient can no longer perform independently.
Documentation of vital signs, food acceptance, intakes, outputs and the amount and type of care provided.
Assist to admit or discharge a resident.
Requirements:
Current CNA certification in the State of Michigan required
3 5 years of experience as CNA
Experience as a float CNA or working at multiple facilities preferred.
Basic computer use, computer data entry, organized, excellent interpersonal and customer services skills, bedside patient care skills, vital signs equipment, safety equipment, and lift equipment operation.
Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, various locations, sometimes on short notice. Must be willing to regularly work 2 of 3 shifts and every other weekend.
