We are a very busy medical specialty office looking for a candidate who would like to grow with our team.
Being compassionate is a must! This position will mainly be in our St.
Joseph office and two days a month in our Dowagiac office.
Answering and returning phone calls.
Entering demographic information, scheduling appointments and checking patients in.
Collecting copays and deductibles for office visits.
Verifying insurance coverages and assisting with billing.
Knowledge of EPIC software or other EMR is a plus.
Job Requirements High School diploma or G.
E.
D.
One year experience in a clinical setting.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
A clear understanding of insurance deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance.
Working knowledge of personal computers, printers and software and other equipment commonly used in a medical office including electronic medical records.
Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to relate in a caring manner to all our patients.
Must be dependable and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
