This is a full-time position with full time benefits and the ability to grow and develop a career! Paid on the job training is provided.
Spring through fall, the position requires in excess of 40 hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Summer is our busy season.
In the winter months the average work week is 20-30 hours.
oHigh school diploma or equivalent is required oA valid Michigan driver's license is required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS oAble to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend & kneel oAble to work above heights of 12 feet or more oAble to lift up to 75 pounds frequently oAble to reach above and below the shoulders oAble to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist and pull oVisual abilities including peripheral, close and distance vision oComfortable with working around water oWillingness to work in external weather conditions, such as rain, cold, and heat RESPONSIBILITIES, ESSENTIAL DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS (TRAINING IS PROVIDED) oDaily cleaning and maintenance of Marina facilities, including docks, shower house, laundry room, fish-cleaning stations, and the grounds oAssist in winterizing and de-winterizing of boats, equipment, and facilities oPerform maintenance of seasonal slip rentals oParticipate in the docking of transient boaters.
oParticipate in fueling and pump-out services.
oAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the duties listed, including other duties as assigned.
