Joseph Animal Wellness Clinic in Southwest Michigan is seeking a licensed veterinary technician or skilled assistant.

Our rapidly growing practice includes digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, new IDEXX lab equipment (Procyte, Catalyst, and Sedivue), and Cornerstone software.

We are seeking individuals who enjoy the client interaction as much as helping care for each patient.
Technicians and assistants support our doctors throughout daily appointments, surgeries and hospitalized cases.
We have a full-time position and a part-time position available.
Candidates should have a deep respect and love for animals.
Excellent communication skills, work history and reliability is a must.
The ideal candidate has veterinary clinic experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Obtaining patient histories, knowledge of appropriate vaccinations and basic medical knowledge Helping rooms flow efficiently so Veterinarians run on time Assisting with patient check ins for drops offs and surgeries Assisting with blood draws, vaccine administration, xray, and other procedures Communicating with clients Animal care and handling Maintaining a sanitary work environment.
Working as a team Ability to multi-task Pay and benefits are very competitive and based on experience.
Previous veterinary experience is preferred, but not required.
